The Pension is an old wooden Swiss mountain Inn located in the Berner Oberland, the heart of the Swiss Alps. We welcome people from all over the world to a peaceful mountain retreat far  from the madding crowd. The Pension stands at 4500ft (1350m) and can only be reached from the valley by cable car (we are just two minutes from the station).

Staying here you leave the modern world behind and return to a traditional farming community. The village is car free and most produce is organic. The perfect place to reflect and absorb the natural world.

As well as individuals, couples and families, we can offer our peaceful retreat for groups to use for extended seminar use or for art classes. This is the perfect place for a business 'time-out' or to come and write, paint, compose. We have wifi but otherwise there is little of the modern world to disturb a peaceful 'workshop'.

Individuals involved in the arts can request our 'hermit room', a special small room we offer to any travelling artist, writer, musician.
